Nollywood is set to welcome a new Yoruba fantasy-adventure film, “Alahun: The Weaver,” featuring some of the industry’s notable actors.
Produced by Kayode Kasum and directed by Dare Olaitan, the film is scheduled to hit Nigerian cinemas on August 21, 2026.

Set against a rich Yoruba cultural and historical backdrop, Alahun: The Weaver explores themes of identity, craftsmanship, tradition and cultural heritage while combining them with fantasy and adventure.
With its star-studded cast and strong cultural themes, the movie is expected to attract audiences when it opens in cinemas across Nigeria on August 21.
