Martins Iyeh has become the first housemate to leave the Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show after spending two weeks in the house.
Martins’ eviction was announced during the first live eviction show of the season on Sunday, August 9, 2026. He was among the housemates placed up for public voting and ultimately received the lowest vote share among those facing eviction.
Reports show that Martins polled 1.63 per cent of the votes, while fellow housemate Mercedes received 2.29 per cent. Keivo, who also faced possible eviction, survived after recording 2.92 per cent.
Martins’ exit came after two weeks of activities inside the Big Brother house, where housemates competed in tasks and interacted with one another while seeking public support.
His eviction marks the beginning of the season’s elimination process, with the remaining contestants continuing their pursuit of the grand prize.
The first eviction has already generated reactions among viewers and fans of the reality show, with supporters expressing disappointment over Martins’ early departure.
Meanwhile, Mercedes also became the second housemate to leave the Season 11 competition during the same eviction show.
With Martins and Mercedes out of the competition, the remaining housemates will now continue their journey in the Big Brother Naija house as the race for the season’s ultimate prize intensifies.
