Renowned Nollywood icon, Dayo Adewunmi, fondly known as “Sule Suebebe”, has passed away.

The esteemed Yoruba actor departed on Wednesday following a prolonged illness. Ademola Amusan, a well-known cleric and philanthropist from Ibadan, also known as “Agbala Gabriel”, shared this heartfelt news on his Facebook page, “Agbala Gabriel Global Page”.

The revered cleric, founder of Agbala Gabriel Apostolic Church, penned, “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Baba Suebebe at the hospital this morning. May his soul find eternal peace.”
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the cleric played a pivotal role in supporting the actor’s medical expenses, even gifting him a new home back in 2023.

Sule Suebebe, a talented comic actor, graced the screens in over 100 movies. He was best known for his remarkable performances in Suku Suku Bam Bam (2004) and Ago Kan Oru (2003).
Beyond his acting prowess, he shone as an MC, TV host, and even operated Suebebe TV on YouTube, creating content that celebrated the richness of the Yoruba culture and language.
