Kenya’s President William Ruto embarked on a 24-hour journey to the Central African Republic over the weekend, engaging in discussions with President Faustin Archange Touadera in Bangu

This marked the inaugural visit of a Kenyan head of state to the nation, a gesture warmly acknowledged by President Touadera, who expressed gratitude for the honor bestowed upon the Central African Republic. He remarked that the visit held promise for fostering bilateral cooperation between the two nations, foreseeing a potentially enduring relationship.

Accompanied by his spouse, President Ruto commended President Touadera’s efforts in steering the nation towards a path of gradual peace restoration amidst longstanding conflict since 2013. He lauded the stability and progress achieved under Touadera’s leadership, extending his felicitations on behalf of the regional populace and affirming his unwavering support for the Central African Republic.
