The Lagos State governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Prince Laja Adeoye, has congratulated the newly elected members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) following the successful national convention held in Bauchi State.
Adeoye also congratulated APM National Leader, Senator Bala Mohammed, describing the convention as a significant milestone in the growth and development of the party.
The Lagos governorship candidate said the APM had rapidly emerged as a credible opposition platform capable of providing Nigerians with an alternative ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He attributed the party’s growing acceptance to the leadership and public appeal of its presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
Adeoye specifically commended Makinde for his leadership and for leading political associates into the APM, assuring him that party members in Lagos and across the country would work towards securing strong electoral support for the party in 2027.
He also expressed appreciation to delegates and party leaders from Lagos and other parts of the country for their contributions to the national convention.
Adeoye said the party’s expanding structure and growing acceptance had strengthened its readiness for the 2027 elections.
The development comes as opposition political parties continue to reposition and build alliances ahead of the 2027 general elections.
