Veteran Nigerian actor Patrick Doyle is currently in mourning following the tragic loss of his newborn baby shortly after birth.
Reports indicate that the baby passed away just hours after delivery, leaving the family devastated. The news has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from colleagues in Nollywood, fans, and members of the public, who have continued to send condolence messages and prayers to the actor and his family.
In a heartfelt statement, he wrote:
“Omayinuwa visited us briefly at about 10:40 am on Friday, 10th of April, and returned to heaven on Saturday, 11th of April, at about 4:15 pm. Her stay was short, but it brought great joy with it. We would have wished for a longer stay, but alas, heaven thought otherwise,” he wrote.
