The Nigerian music scene was shaken after a reported clash between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez, prompting DJs across the country to temporarily remove Burna Boy’s tracks from their playlists.

The incident occurred at a lively Lagos event where the two entertainers reportedly had a heated disagreement that escalated into a minor physical altercation. Attendees and staff intervened to calm the situation before it got out of hand.

In response, the Nigerian DJ Association issued a statement condemning any form of violence in the entertainment industry and emphasizing professionalism among performers and DJs. They announced that, effective immediately, Burna Boy’s music would be suspended from DJ playlists nationwide until the situation is fully reviewed.

The association urged DJs to maintain safety and respect at events, highlighting the importance of collaboration within Nigeria’s vibrant music community. So far, neither Burna Boy nor his management has released a comment on the matter, leaving fans and industry insiders waiting for clarification.

The suspension has sparked debates online, with fans discussing the implications for Burna Boy’s music and DJ culture in Nigeria.
