A tragic attack by a pack of starving dogs in Italy has claimed the life of 27-year-old Nigerian mother, Patricia Masirthe la.

According to reports by The Mirror, the tragic incident occurred on Monday morning while Patricia was visiting a friend’s vacant villa in the Lazio region.

Residents nearby rushed to alert authorities after hearing Patricia’s screaming around 3 a.m.

When emergency teams arrived, they found her in a critical state, suffering from severe lacerations and lying in a blood-soaked area. Italian authorities later confirmed that the dogs responsible were emaciated and lacked proper care, with two identified as aggressive breeds without microchip identification.

After the attack, police intervened, shooting two of the dogs, one of which was fatally wounded, while the others escaped. Despite receiving prompt medical care and being rushed to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, Patricia’s injuries were fata

The victim is survived by her five-year-old daughter and siblings. The investigation has led authorities to question the 40-year-old owner of the abandoned villa, with whom Patricia allegedly had a prior relationship.

Authorities have seized the villa, citing its hazardous condition, and an autopsy has been launched to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Patricia’s tragic death.
