Yoruba Nation advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has expressed that many Nigerians no longer take pride in identifying as citizens of Nigeria. In a video shared online on Thursday, Igboho, seen at an airport in the United Kingdom, attributed the loss of patriotism to widespread corruption, insecurity, and a failing economy.

The separatist leader emphasized that if Nigeria cannot function as a cohesive nation, different ethnic groups should be permitted to pursue their independence. Igboho noted that Yoruba youths, having traveled globally and acquired valuable knowledge, are keen to shape the Yoruba nation into a modern, thriving society akin to those in Europe.

He remarked, “Even within the airport, there’s a lack of security. They could easily steal items from your luggage (in Nigerian airports). These are the types of issues that discourage people from feeling proud to be Nigerian. It’s the reason we advocate for independence. If Nigeria can’t operate as one, it’s better for us to separate.”

Igboho further stated, “Our Yoruba youths will bring transformation to the Yoruba nation. Many have traveled abroad and gained vital experience. When they return to Yoruba land, they’ll use this knowledge to rebuild and modernize it, just as is done in European countries.”

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100 certain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
