Popular blogger, Tosin Silverdam, has taken to social media to share a story about his journey.In a post on his Instagram page, Tosin opened up about the challenges he faced growing up due to his feminine appearance.
Tosin revealed that he was subjected to harassment, and even sexual abuse by those around him, including his neighbor, teacher, and church minister. These experiences lowered his self-esteem, making him feel ashamed of his appearance .
However, as Tosin grew older, he decided to take control of his life and work on building his confidence. He started hitting the gym regularly and even went for surgery to remove excess fat from his chest.
Tosins post read, “When I almost turned to Bobrisky but God said, no oooo… Thank God for growth, growing up looking feminine was really hard for me, I had low self esteem, I was sexually abused and harassed by my neighbor, my teacher, a minister in my church. I hated how I look… I grew up and realized I can actually work on myself, that’s why you see me go to the gym back to back, lifting weights. I even did surgery too to remove boobs. Mehn ko easy, one thing I’m battling with now is my female mannerism which I’ve given up already . This is who I am…”
