Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun popularly known as AY and his ex wife, Mabel have been reported to be in a custody battle for their second child.
According to reports, the custody battle began when AY was not allowed to see or visit his daughter.
After 20 years of marriage, they ended the relationship earlier this year, with Ayo announcing their separation online and stating he would no longer engage with public opinions about his family.
Stella Dimoko a blogger claimed that Mabel has denied Ayo access to see their second daughter, which has led to the custody conflict. She stated that someone close to the family revealed this to her.
She said,“Mabel has refused AY to have a phone or physical contact with their 2nd daughter, but once Mabel goes out, the Nanny will call AY to have quality time with his daughter on the phone.”
“On one of those times, Mabel returned home and met their daughter on the phone with AY on the Nannys phone and all hell broke loose for the Nanny who was sacked immediately and sent her back to the village that same day.”
