Chioma Chijioke’s Newborn Sparks Widowhood Duration Debate

Nollywood actress Chioma Chijioke has welcomed a baby boy with her new husband, just 22 months after the demise of her first husband, Kingsley Anosike.

The news has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many questioning the duration of widowhood and Chioma’s decision to move on.

“Till death do us part. She no sin!” commented @honeykittyofficial.

@tsatuma added, “It’s ok for a man to remarry and find love again. But Women should mourn forever and die lonely.. Most of the mean comments are from women. Nawa! Congratulations darling.”

However, others were critical, with @realhonour199 saying “Chioma Chijioke, it’s unwise to welcome a baby 21 months after your husband’s death. It’s even more unwise to get pregnant just one year after he passed away. You’re moaning instead of mourning. Flaunting this online speaks volumes and may lead people to suspect you of cheating while your husband was alive, and possibly even link his death to it.”

Afrisagacity said, “The cause of her husband’s death should be investigated. Her husband died 21 months ago. She just gave birth, after 9 months. This means, she got pregnant just 11 months after her husband died. The baby is certainly not her husband’s. Therefore…make of it whatever you wish.”

peniel_kendra added, “Some of you trying to shame her…if e reach your turn mourn for 15 years especially when you don’t have any child.”

@Unwanaassam1 said, “That means she got married to another man barely one year after her husband’s death? Just fear women, men. In all you do, take care of yourself and don’t die, please.Women will move on very fast and forget about you.”

Chioma had earlier spoken about her struggles after losing her husband, saying, “It felt like a dream to survive one month without my beloved.”

The grieving widow had taken to social media to vent her lamentations on how life would become difficult without her husband by her side.

Rumors have also emerged about Chioma’s new husband, with some claiming he is a pastor.

Congratulations poured in for the actress, with many celebrating her new bundle of joy.
