Bishop David Abioye, former vice president of the Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), has announced his next move after retiring from the ministry in October 2024, following the church’s age retirement policy.
“The wait is over, THE NEXT CHAPTER is here!” Bishop Abioye exclaimed on his X (formerly Twitter) handle @BishopDOAbioye on Monday, November 11.
Abioye’s retirement marked the end of an era, as he had served the church for over three decades. He and Bishop Thomas Aremu, the ministry’s other vice president, were honored with valedictory services in Abuja and Ibadan, respectively.
“Head over to the David Abioye Channel on YouTube tomorrow morning by 6 AM to watch, learn, and be inspired by this remarkable story of service, submission, and dedication,” Bishop Abioye announced.
The highly anticipated announcement has generated excitement among his followers and well-wishers.
During his valedictory service on October 18, Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, prayed for Abioye, saying, “You have been a faithful servant, a loyal partner, and a true brother. I release upon you fresh oil, fresh fire, and fresh anointing for the next phase of your journey.”
Bishop Abioye expressed gratitude to Oyedepo, stating, “Your fatherly love and guidance have shaped me into the person I am today. I am forever grateful.”
The Living Faith Church’s retirement policy is based on its operational manual, known as the Mandate.
Bishop Abioye’s next chapter will reportedly focus on evangelism, mentorship, and leadership development.
As news of his next chapter spreads, fans and followers are eagerly awaiting the YouTube announcement.
