The African Youth Leadership and Cultural Summit (AYLCS) is currently taking place from October 21 to 25, 2024, at the United Nations Auditorium in Abuja, Nigeria. This premier annual gathering unites young leaders from Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond, serving as a catalyst for connecting innovative minds, fostering cultural exchange, and developing leadership skills.

AYLCS provides a transformative platform for young visionaries to converge, share ideas, and tackle the continent’s pressing challenges. AYLCS empowers young leaders to drive positive change and shape Africa’s future by promoting collaboration, sustainable development, and innovation.

The event kicked off with an opening ceremony, featuring notable guests and thought leaders. AYLCS is more than just a summit; it’s a movement to unlock Africa’s potential by nurturing its most valuable resource, its youth.

Keynote speeches have been delivered and will be delivered by renowned leaders and experts, such as Marcus Gavey Jr., Winnie Mandela (President Pan Africa Youth Movement), Mr. Cuthbert Ncube (President Africa Tourism Board), Ugwuba Uche Nwosu (IMO state Govern-ship candidate), Mr. Fatalla A. F. Elzuni (Libyan Minister of Youth and the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy for African Affairs), Reverend Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi (Founder and General Overseer Love of Christ Generation Church), Dr. Dan Akpaida (Executive Director Upland Realtor), Otunba Abiodun Ajiboye (Executive Secretary National Institute of Cultural Orientation NICO) and lots more.

All the speakers will be sharing their insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and cultural preservation. Panel discussions will engage young leaders in thought-provoking conversations on entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, and climate change. Hands-on training sessions will provide workshops on leadership development, entrepreneurship, and innovation. There will be fashion runway shows; there will also be sessions to explore the Africa Art and Library. The summit will also showcase Africa’s rich cultural heritage through music, dance, art, and fashion exhibitions. Schools and colleges are set to perform during this submit.

Participants who will be attending will gain enhanced leadership skills and knowledge, increase collaboration and networking, develop innovative solutions to Africa’s challenges, and strengthen relationships between African countries and international partners. The target audience includes young leaders (18-35 years) from Africa, students, entrepreneurs, artists, and activists.
