The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board have announced that the next stage of the recruitment exercise for the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Federal Fire Service will commence in August. The exercise, which was initially scheduled to end on June 15, 2024, will now conclude before the end of September.
According to the Board’s Secretary, Ja’afaru Ahmed, the delay in the recruitment process was due to a nationwide manpower audit exercise carried out in the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
All shortlisted candidates will be notified of the next stage of the recruitment exercise through their phone numbers and email addresses. The Board has apologized for the delay and appreciates the patience and understanding of the candidates.
The recruitment exercise is a crucial step towards strengthening the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Federal Fire Service, and the Board is committed to ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process.
