This impressive feat was achieved in a record time of 12.52 seconds, surpassing the previous record by an astonishing 10 seconds.
The record-breaking attempt took place on February 24, 2024, at the Lekan Salami Stadium tennis court in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Anjola’s remarkable achievement was officially recognized by Guinness World Records (GWR) on their X platform, solidifying his place in the record books.
Anjola expressed his excitement and gratitude, stating, “Dreams do come true! I’m thrilled to officially announce that I’m the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest 10m walk on hands with legs behind the head (12.52 seconds), surpassing the previous record by 13 seconds.”
He also acknowledged the support of his loved ones, mentor, team, friends, colleagues, clients, and the executive adviser to the governor on youth and sports in Oyo State, Seun Fakorede.
