Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has pledged to mobilise support across the state for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Kefas made the commitment while speaking on the political outlook ahead of the elections, expressing confidence that the state would record a strong showing for the president.

The governor’s declaration comes amid growing political activities and alignments ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with political parties and their supporters intensifying mobilisation across the country.

Kefas said his administration would continue to engage with stakeholders and work towards ensuring political stability and development in Taraba.

He also called on supporters and political stakeholders to remain united, stressing the importance of collective efforts in achieving the desired electoral outcome.

The governor’s position is expected to generate further political discussions in Taraba, particularly as parties begin preparations for the 2027 elections.

President Tinubu is expected to face a competitive contest in 2027, with opposition parties and political groups also positioning themselves to challenge the ruling party at the polls.

As the election draws closer, Taraba is likely to remain an important political battleground, with the strength of the governor’s political structure expected to play a significant role in determining the state’s electoral direction
