The Renewed Hope Ambassadors Network (RHAN) has congratulated Kano State lawmaker Rt. Hon. Kabir Bichi on his appointment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
The group described Bichi’s appointment as a recognition of his political experience, grassroots connections and commitment to the administration’s agenda.
RHAN said it was confident that the Kano lawmaker would bring valuable experience to the campaign council as the All Progressives Congress (APC) prepares for the 2027 general elections.
The organisation also expressed optimism that Bichi’s involvement would contribute to the mobilisation of voters and strengthen the party’s campaign structure, particularly in Kano State and other parts of the country.
The group said the appointment demonstrated the confidence placed in Bichi by the President and the APC leadership.
It urged the lawmaker to use the new responsibility to engage with citizens, communicate the administration’s programmes and contribute to the party’s efforts to secure victory in the 2027 presidential election.
The development comes as the APC continues to assemble its campaign team ahead of the election. President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are leading the presidential campaign council, while former Zamfara State Governor Abdul’aziz Yari serves as Director-General.
Other senior APC figures have also been assigned responsibilities within the campaign structure, reflecting the party’s efforts to coordinate its nationwide mobilisation and election strategy.
RHAN maintained that Bichi’s political experience would be useful in communicating the administration’s message to voters and strengthening support for the President.
The group also called on APC members and supporters to remain united as preparations for the 2027 election intensify.
Political activities have increased across the country, with parties and political groups beginning to organise campaign structures, mobilise supporters and present their programmes to the electorate.
For the APC, the campaign council will play a central role in presenting the Tinubu administration’s achievements and policies while seeking support for the President’s re-election bid.
RHAN said it looked forward to Bichi making meaningful contributions to the council and helping to advance the party’s campaign objectives.
The group further encouraged supporters to maintain issue-based engagement and peaceful political activities as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
Bichi’s appointment is expected to add another layer of political representation from Kano to the APC’s campaign structure as the ruling party seeks to consolidate its support in the North and across Nigeria.
As preparations continue, more activities are expected from the campaign council as it develops its strategy for reaching voters across the country.
The group’s endorsement therefore highlights the growing political activity surrounding the APC’s 2027 campaign and the importance the party is placing on experienced political figures in its mobilisation efforts.
