The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced another extension of its timetable for key activities ahead of the 2027 General Elections, adjusting deadlines for the sale and submission of nomination forms as well as the screening of aspirants.
According to a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will now continue until midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. This extension is intended to give prospective aspirants additional time to complete the purchase process and finalize their preparations.
In addition, the deadline for submitting completed forms has been moved to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Aspirants are expected to ensure that all necessary documentation is properly filled and submitted within the new timeframe.
The party also revised its screening schedule, which will now take place from Friday, May 8 through Tuesday, May 12, 2026. During this period, aspirants will be assessed to determine their eligibility and readiness to contest under the APC platform.
Following the screening exercise, the APC will publish the official list of cleared aspirants on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, providing clarity on those qualified to proceed.
