Doctor Suspended After Chimamanda’s Son Dies

A legal team representing celebrated Nigerian writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has formally written to a Lagos-based hospital over allegations of medical negligence involving one of its doctors, who has now been suspended from duty.

The letter, delivered earlier this week, reportedly demands a full explanation of the treatment Chimamanda and her family received, as well as the circumstances that led to the incident in question.
