Members of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) held a closed-door meeting on Thursday night at the Council Chamber of the Kebbi State Government House in Birnin Kebbi.
The meeting, chaired by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, brought together governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to deliberate on pressing national issues and internal party matters.
According to a report by Channels Television on Friday, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, was also in Kebbi State but did not participate in the meeting.
In a statement released earlier on Thursday, Yilwatda announced his arrival in Kebbi, noting that in addition to the PGF meeting, he would attend the inauguration of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity State Secretariat.
Over the next two days, the APC governors are expected to continue their closed-door sessions, focusing on key national and party-related discussions.
“As a party, we remain committed to unity, good governance, and the vision of Renewed Hope for all Nigerians,” Yilwatda affirmed.
