President Bola Tinubu will today embark on a two-nation working visit to Japan and Brazil, with a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In Japan, the President will take part in the ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), scheduled for August 20–22 in Yokohama. During the summit, he will attend plenary sessions, hold bilateral meetings, and engage with top executives of major Japanese companies with existing or potential investments in Nigeria.
From Japan, President Tinubu will proceed to Brazil, where he is expected to hold bilateral discussions with his host, participate in the Nigeria–Brazil Business Forum, and witness the signing of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) designed to strengthen economic, trade, and technical cooperation between both nations.
