A fresh wave of controversy has hit the Social Democratic Party (SDP) following claims that the party’s National Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, has been suspended over alleged financial irregularities — claims he has swiftly denied.
Earlier on Tuesday, a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ambassador Rufus Aiyenigba, announced the suspension of Gabam and two other key officials: Nze Nnadi Clarkson (National Secretary) and Chukwuma Uchechukwu (National Youth Leader).
