Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, former governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At a briefing held yesterday, JANDOR explained that his decision to switch parties was motivated by a desire to contribute to Lagos State’s progress and his belief in the importance of unity among progressives to achieve the people’s collective goals.
He shared that his journey in the PDP during the 2023 gubernatorial race was driven by a genuine intent to serve Lagosians. However, he acknowledged that the APC now presents a more effective platform for fulfilling his commitment to good governance.
JANDOR also expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, and Seyi Tinubu for their instrumental roles in facilitating his return to the APC.
The former PDP candidate reassured his supporters that his decision was made with Lagos’ best interests in mind and called on them to join him in embracing this new chapter, working together for a Lagos that benefits all.
