To mark its 25th anniversary, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria recently recognized 55 dedicated customers at its Member Get Member (MGM) rewards ceremony in Lagos. In a release, the bank explained that the MGM initiative, part of the Affluent Banking Referral Program, encourages existing customers and staff to recommend friends and family to open accounts, with incentives awarded for each successful referral.
The event brought together some of the 55 recipients at the bank’s headquarters in Lagos, while others joined virtually from various locations, illustrating the bank’s effort to foster stronger customer loyalty and engagement through this initiative.
Chima Ebor, Head of Affluent Banking and Branches in Nigeria and West Africa, conveyed appreciation for the clients’ contributions to the bank’s expansion, noting that the program not only enhances client interactions but also helps expand the bank’s customer network.
Joke Adu, the Country Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand, and Marketing, emphasized the campaign’s significance in celebrating the bank’s 25-year milestone, reaffirming Standard Chartered’s commitment to sustainable growth and strong customer partnerships.
According to The PUNCH, Standard Chartered Bank has also collaborated with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative to organize, package, and distribute food and dental hygiene supplies to assist 300 vulnerable families in need.
