TikTok Bans Nigerian Man’s Account After Dangerous Stunt

TikTok has taken swift action against a Nigerian man, known as Young C, who attempted a dangerous 24-hour challenge of being buried alive. The platform has permanently banned his account, and his profile is no longer accessible.
Young C’s stunt, which went viral on Wednesday, involved being buried in a coffin for 24 hours, sparking widespread concern and outrage. His actions drew comparisons to American YouTuber MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson), who completed a similar challenge two years ago to raise awareness about deforestation. MrBeast recently attempted an even more extreme version of the challenge, spending seven consecutive days buried in a coffin and overcoming significant physical and mental challenges before being exhumed.
TikTok’s decision to ban Young C’s account is likely due to the platform’s strict policies against dangerous and harmful content. The stunt posed a significant risk to Young C’s safety and well-being, and TikTok’s action sends a clear message that such behavior will not be condoned on the platform.

The ban serves as a warning to users against engaging in dangerous and potentially harmful activities for the sake of online fame or attention. It also highlights the importance of prioritizing safety and well-being over online popularity.
