Terrorists have again  launched an attack in the Ambe community, killing six people and Nine sustained gunshots  in the Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This sad incident was confirmed by Micah Aude, the youth leader of the community on Monday .

He said the attackers raided  the community on motorcycles, and opened fire on a particular house where a birthday celebration was taking place, but nobody was killed except those sitting around some shops.

Micah said that the locals were able to get hold of the attackers who rode one of the motorcycles but was not  identified.

“We Immediately handed over the attacker, who was apprehended, to the authorities for prompt action because we were rushing those injured to the hospital for medical attention at that time.

” Security operatives have been drafted to the Community, and normalcy has returned and we’re about to bury the six victims now,” Aude said.

Bissallah Malan, the executive chairman of the Local Government Area, when reached out earlier, by a correspondent of PUNCH, said,  “I am in transit from Kaduna to the village. I cannot give you any credible information now but I will get back to you  with more details”.

The chairman did not respond to calls put across to him the second time to confirm the incident as according to PUNCH.

Meanwhile, the Police State Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, could not be reached on the phone, and he did not respond to a text message sent to him by Punch correspondent at the time of filing this report.
