Deji Adeyanju Condemns FCT Minister Wike, Accusing Him of Land Grabbing

Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has accused Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), of corruption, land grabbing, and mismanagement. Adeyanju claimed that Wike has no professional history outside of public office and has been using his position to unfairly distribute lands in Abuja, benefiting only his associates .

During a press conference, Adeyanju stated that Wike’s only address is “looting public resources.” He also alleged that Wike was grabbing lands in Abuja and giving them to his friends. Adeyanju drew comparisons between his past struggles with the Buhari administration and Wike’s tenure as a governor, insinuating that Wike enjoyed impunity while he faced persecution.

Adeyanju’s accusations were in response to Wike’s earlier remark that he was merely “claiming to be an activist.” The lawyer fired back, saying, “Clouts and charlatans like Nyesom Wike will open his dirty mouth and tell us that I am claiming that I am an Activist.”

The allegations mark a new low in the escalating tensions between the two public figures. As of now, there has been no official response from Wike or his team regarding these accusations.
