President Bola Tinubu is set to swear in seven new ministers today, November 4, 2023, at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja. The announcement was made by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, via his X account.

The new ministers include:

– Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction

– Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment

– Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

The ceremony marks an important step in shaping the administration’s cabinet and priorities.

This ceremony is a significant event for President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it shapes the government’s approach to key issues.

In addition to the previously mentioned ministers, the following individuals will also be sworn in:

– Dr. Jumoke Oduwole: Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment

– Idi Mukhtar Maiha: Minister of Livestock Development

– Yusuf Abdullahi Ata: Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development

– Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad: Minister of State for Education

The Senate approved these appointments last week, paving the way for today’s ceremony.

On October 23, President Tinubu conducted a significant cabinet reshuffle, which included the re-assignment of 10 ministers to new portfolios, the discharge of five others, and the nomination of seven new ministers. Following their screening, the Senate confirmed all seven nominees on October 31.

This reshuffle reflects the administration’s strategy to enhance governance and address key issues in various sectors.
