In honor of its 75th anniversary, United Bank for Africa Plc has gifted 30 lucky customers with over N17 million during its August raffle.

In a recent statement, the bank revealed that the event took place in Lagos and was overseen by officials from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission.

In the highest category, 10 winners walked away with N1 million each, with recipients such as Joshua Izenobor, Chigozie Abel, and Cornelius Nwankwo among those announced.

In the second prize category, another 10 customers were rewarded with N500,000 each, including individuals like Elizabeth Warekoromor and Deborah Ijeoma Simon.

Meanwhile, in the third category, 10 more customers received N250,000 each, with winners like Olusegun Oke and Salisu Adamu being highlighted.

Congratulating the winners, Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail & Digital Banking, encouraged other customers to continue saving, hinting at more chances to win in future draws.

“This is just the beginning of our legacy promotion. We have plans to reward 75 winners across different categories, with 195 additional customers to be selected in the coming months. The transparency of our draws ensures that anyone could be the next millionaire,” Fashola stated.

Additionally, UBA’s Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, emphasized that the promotion not only rewards customers but also encourages a strong savings culture.

“This initiative is a reflection of our dedication to giving back to the community and ensuring our customers feel appreciated,” Ladipo added.
