The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State has strengthened its governorship campaign structure by appointing additional members to various committees ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Director-General of the Oyo APM Governorship Campaign Council, Dr Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, announced the changes in a statement on Wednesday, explaining that the move was intended to improve coordination, encourage wider participation and boost grassroots mobilisation.
As part of the restructuring, the council has created a Community Relations and Voters’ Education Committee. The existing Mobilisation Committee has also been reorganised into smaller units with specific responsibilities to enhance efficiency and outreach.
The newly expanded committees are scheduled for inauguration on Friday at 3pm at the Local Government Hall, Secretariat.
Adeniran expressed optimism that the new appointments and structural changes would improve the council’s ability to connect with residents, educate voters, rally supporters and coordinate campaign activities across Oyo State.
