President Bola Tinubu will depart Lagos on Tuesday to arrive at  Pretoria, South Africa, for the inauguration ceremony of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The inauguration of President Ramaphosais followed by  his re-election as President for a second term.

Ramaphosa was reelected by lawmakers for a second term, hours after his party African National Congress closed a deal with the Democratic Alliance (DA) to form an alliance.

Ramaphosa gathered 283 votes to defeat Julius Malema, leader of the far-left Economic Freedom Fighters who had 44 votes.

President Tinubu will return to Nigeria after the inauguration ceremony of Ramaphosa.
