Nollywood actor and activist Stanley Ajemba, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has publicly called out actress Regina Daniels following the circulation of a video showing her at the residence of her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The footage, which surfaced online on September 5, 2026, reignited speculation among Nigerians that Regina and the Delta State senator may have reconciled, months after their highly publicised marital dispute.
Regina’s reported return to the residence also triggered mixed reactions on social media, particularly among supporters who had rallied around the actress during the period of her separation from Nwoko.
However, Regina’s sister, Destiny, moved to clarify the reason for the visit. According to her, Regina went to the residence simply to spend time with her two sons, who currently live with their father.
Destiny described the visit as a normal parental engagement and dismissed suggestions that it was evidence of a reconciliation between Regina and Nwoko.
But Stanley Ontop rejected that explanation.
In a series of videos shared on his Instagram page on September 6, Stanley expressed frustration over the development, recalling his involvement in the earlier controversy surrounding Regina’s marriage.
He claimed that he nearly got arrested at the Maitama Police Station after publishing a video which allegedly showed Regina being harassed at Nwoko’s residence.
“I almost went to prison because of this case. I was the one that posted the video of where they were harassing Regina at Ned’s house. I was almost arrested because they were looking for me to be arrested,” he said.
Stanley also claimed that activists he had mobilised to support Regina were now angry with him because of the latest development.
According to him, the activists had joined the matter based on his understanding that Regina would not return to Nwoko’s residence.
“All the activists I brought into this matter to support Regina are angry with me now because I gave them my words that she’s not going back to that house,” he said.
The actor said some of those activists had subsequently contacted him, questioning why they had become involved in the dispute.
Stanley further said he was unconvinced by the explanation that Regina’s visit was solely to see her children.
In a strongly worded statement, he alleged that Regina and Nwoko had settled their differences, although there has been no independent confirmation from either Regina or Nwoko that the couple have reconciled.
“You didn’t go there to see your children. You don settle with Ned. Me and you know say you didn’t go there to see your children, you don settle with Ned. There’s nothing you will tell me that I will believe. This is nonsense,” Stanley said.
The controversy has again drawn public attention to the relationship between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, with social media users debating whether the visit was simply a family engagement or a sign of a possible reconciliation.
Stanley, meanwhile, said the experience had taught him a lesson and vowed not to interfere in other people’s marital disputes again.
The latest development comes about nine months after Nwoko reportedly declared publicly that he would not take Regina back as his wife.
Neither Regina Daniels nor Ned Nwoko has publicly confirmed that they have reconciled.
