Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared that his administration will mobilise its achievements and political structures to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Aiyedatiwa made the pledge while receiving members of the City Boy Movement, a pro-Tinubu political group, at the Governor’s Office in Akure.
The governor said his administration’s developmental programmes, including job creation, road construction and political appointments, would help strengthen support for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the 6,000 jobs created by his administration, alongside ongoing infrastructure projects and empowerment programmes, would have a positive impact on the lives of residents and translate into greater electoral support for the president.
“Every action we take that impacts the people positively is a vote for the president. Every one of the 6,000 jobs we have created is a vote for the president. Every road we build attracts votes for the president,” Aiyedatiwa said.
The governor commended the City Boy Movement for promoting the ideals of the APC and Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring the group and other pro-Tinubu support organisations of his administration’s backing.
He said all groups working towards Tinubu’s re-election in Ondo State would be supported and carried along in the mobilisation efforts.
Declaring “Ondo for Tinubu 2027,” Aiyedatiwa said the state would be positioned as a strong base for the president’s re-election campaign.
He added that his administration’s investments in infrastructure, healthcare, education, youth employment and empowerment would provide a strong foundation for promoting the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.
“Our people are seeing and feeling the impact of good governance. From road projects to health, education and empowerment, we are building a foundation that makes it easy to sell the Renewed Hope message in Ondo State,” he said.
The governor maintained that every developmental initiative undertaken by his administration would contribute to strengthening the APC’s political support ahead of the 2027 elections.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, thanked the governor for his leadership and support for the president’s agenda. He said the group would intensify its grassroots mobilisation efforts to secure victory for Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
