Yenagoa, Bayelsa State – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Bayelsa West has promised to prioritise job creation, youth empowerment, and effective representation if elected to the National Assembly.

The candidate made the commitment during a recent campaign engagement with party stakeholders, community leaders, and supporters across the district.

He said his legislative agenda would focus on tackling unemployment, improving access to economic opportunities, and attracting federal interventions that would benefit communities in Bayelsa West.

According to him, sustainable development in the district depends on deliberate policies that empower young people and strengthen small and medium-scale enterprises.

He also stressed the need for unity among political actors in the region, noting that collaboration would be essential in delivering meaningful development to constituents.

The candidate further pledged to maintain regular engagement with residents if elected, assuring that their concerns would be adequately represented at the National Assembly.

Political observers say the campaign message is gaining attention as preparations intensify ahead of the senatorial election in the state.
