The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is committed to producing capable leaders who can move Nigeria toward prosperity and national development.
The party made this known in a statement on Wednesday while reacting to its gubernatorial screening exercise ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
According to the ADC, more than 80 gubernatorial aspirants from across the country participated in the screening exercise, describing the turnout as a reflection of the growing confidence Nigerians have in the party as a platform for credible leadership, democratic inclusion, grassroots development, and national renewal.
The party noted that the screening process brought together aspirants from different states, all united by a shared commitment to purposeful governance, accountability, and service to the people.
“As momentum continues to build across the country, the ADC remains focused on strengthening internal democracy and providing Nigerians with capable leaders ready to move the nation forward.
“The movement is growing. Hope is rising across Nigeria,” the statement added.
