President Bola Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday after a ten-day official visit to Lagos. Upon arrival at the airport, the president was warmly received by key government officials including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, among others.

President Tinubu had traveled to Lagos on September 26, following his attendance at the coronation of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan.

During his stay in Lagos, Tinubu engaged with several major investors, including Bayo Ogunlesi, CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners, and HaKeem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Metis Capital Partners, signaling a focus on strengthening economic ties and attracting investment.

The president also received Mr. Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), accompanied by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and other industry leaders, underscoring Nigeria’s commitment to advancing its maritime sector.

The successful visit marks a productive period aimed at boosting economic growth and fostering international cooperation.
