PSALM BEE — “OGO RATED”

Definition: Ogo Rated is Psalm Bee’s new eight-track album with one additional bonus track, presenting a focused and uncompromising portrait of the artist’s journey, ambition, gratitude, street experience, love, and personal growth. The project is deliberately featureless, with zero guest artists, allowing Psalm Bee’s voice, writing, personality, and musical identity to carry the entire body of work.

ARTICLE: THE MEANING BEHIND “OGO RATED”

“Ogo Rated” is more than a collection of songs—it is a statement of identity.

With the project, Psalm Bee steps forward without relying on collaborations, creating a body of work where the listener experiences the artist exactly as he intends: alone, authentic, and unapologetic. The album contains eight core tracks, accompanied by one bonus track, making it a compact but intentional musical experience.

The title “Ogo Rated” represents a mindset of elevation, recognition, confidence, and earned respect. “Ogo,” meaning glory/honor, connects the project to the idea of rising above circumstances and being recognized for the journey behind the success. “Rated” adds another dimension—the desire to be acknowledged, respected, and measured by the impact of the work.

The album moves through different sides of Psalm Bee. There is gratitude, ambition, street reality, relationships, vulnerability, celebration, and the determination to keep moving forward. Rather than presenting only one version of himself, Psalm Bee uses the project to show the different experiences that have shaped his sound and personality.

What makes “Ogo Rated” particularly distinctive is the decision to have no features whatsoever. In an era where collaborations often dominate album campaigns, Psalm Bee chooses to make the project entirely about his own artistic voice. Every record becomes part of the same conversation, allowing the audience to understand the artist beyond individual singles.

The project also represents another stage in Psalm Bee’s evolution. His musical journey began gaining wider attention around 2022, and Ogo Rated continues that progression, building on the identity he has developed as a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter.

At its heart, “Ogo Rated” is about becoming. It is about where Psalm Bee has been, where he is now, and where he believes he is going.

THE CORE IDEA

OGO RATED = GLORY, GROWTH, EXPERIENCE, CONFIDENCE, AND SELF-RECOGNITION.

It is Psalm Bee saying: I have lived through the journey, I have earned my voice, and now I am ready to be rated on my own terms.
