LG Electronics has introduced a new range of artificial intelligence-powered home solutions, showcasing them at InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria. The company said the dual exhibitions reflect its strategy of blending global technological innovation with the everyday needs of consumers and businesses across different markets.
In a statement, LG explained that presenting the same portfolio of AI-driven solutions in multiple regions highlights its focus on inclusiveness, localisation and the practical application of artificial intelligence. By aligning advanced technologies with real-life use cases, the company aims to ensure that innovation remains both accessible and relevant to diverse consumer groups.
At InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi, LG outlined its vision for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region through a broad collection of AI-enabled home and lifestyle solutions. The exhibition demonstrated the company’s expanding smart ecosystem, where connected home appliances, air solutions and digital technologies work together to improve convenience, personalise user experiences and enhance energy efficiency.
One of the major attractions at the exhibition was LG’s advanced residential laundry range. The company presented appliances equipped with AI Wash and AI Dry technologies, which automatically detect fabric types and load sizes to optimise washing and drying performance while reducing energy use. Leading the display was the 29-inch LG SIGNATURE Wash Combo, described as a premium all-in-one washer-dryer with a large-capacity design. LG also unveiled its expanded WashTower series, now available in 24-inch, 25-inch and 27-inch models, offering flexible installation options and space-saving solutions suited to modern homes.
In the kitchen segment, LG introduced its ‘Fit & Max’ concept, which combines built-in design aesthetics with intelligent, user-focused functionality. The LG InstaView French door refrigerator attracted attention with features such as a zero-clearance hinge for seamless kitchen integration and AI Fresh technology, which automatically adjusts cooling based on usage habits. According to the company, the range of refrigerators on display further strengthened its position as a leading brand in the MEA refrigerator market.
Following the Abu Dhabi showcase, LG presented the same innovations to Nigerian consumers and businesses at Mega HORECA 2026. The exhibition provided hospitality operators, business partners and everyday users with hands-on access to LG’s AI-powered technologies, including intelligent refrigerators with adaptive cooling systems, AI-enabled laundry appliances, smart cooking solutions and advanced air-conditioning units designed for hotels, restaurants and residential spaces.
A standout product from LG’s Eco Solutions range was its flagship dehumidifier, developed to combat mould and mildew while operating quietly for up to 23 hours a day. The company said the product’s modern design, intuitive controls and strong moisture-reduction performance reflect its focus on health, comfort and improved indoor air quality.
Speaking on the company’s regional strategy, President of LG West Africa, Mr Hyoung Sub Ji, reaffirmed LG’s commitment to delivering locally adapted smart solutions. He said the company is focused on providing user-centric innovations that make everyday life more convenient while creating long-term value through continuous innovation and strategic partnerships across the MEA region.
Through its participation at InnoFest 2026 and Mega HORECA 2026, LG reiterated its vision of making advanced smart living solutions globally competitive, while ensuring they remain accessible, practical and relevant to local markets throughout the Middle East and Africa.
