A shocking incident has occurred in Enugu State, Nigeria, where a man identified as Chikwado died during a spiritual fortification ritual before traveling abroad.

According to reports, Chikwado’s visa had been approved, and he visited his father in Ugbaike, Igbo-Eze North LGA, to inform him about his plan to travel.

During his stay,Chikwado’s father suggested  they consult a native doctor, Onuwa, for spiritual fortification to ensure his success abroad. The native doctor instructed that Chikwado be buried alive for 1 hour30 minutes, after which he would be exhumed. By the time they dug Chikwado up, he was already dead.

Chikwado’s father and the native doctor in connection with the incident have reportedly been arrested by the police.
