TurnTable Charts, Nigerias leading music chart platform, has released its Industry Digest for the first half of 2025, revealing the top-performing artists, songs, and albums across streaming platforms, radio, and TV.

Superstar Wizkid has emerged as the top artist in Nigeria for the first half of 2025, maintaining a dominant presence across all major platforms. This continued success is fueled by the momentum of his 2024 album, ‘Morayo’, which remains the most streamed project of the year so far with 235 million streams.

The album’s standout single, ‘Kese’, was also the most played song on Nigerian radio during the period. Wizkid’s collaborative streak in 2025 has boosted his visibility, with features on Ayra Starr’s ‘Gimme Dat’, two tracks on Olamide’s self-titled album, and DJ Tunez’s ‘One Condition’ with newcomer Fola.

Street-pop sensation Seyi Vibez holds the title of the most streamed artist in Nigeria, with 297 million streams across platforms. His success is attributed to his surprise EP ‘Children of Africa’, which includes the hit ‘Shaolin’, and follow-up single ‘Pressure’.

Seyi’s consistent releases both in 2024 and early 2025 continue to resonate deeply with fans, particularly on streaming platforms.

Davido has claimed the top spot for radio airplay in Nigeria, with a staggering 6.77 billion impressions in the first half of 2025. His fifth studio album, ‘5ive’, is the second most streamed project with 173 million streams.
