Mikano International has announced its sponsorship of Eniola Bolaji, an athlete set to represent Nigeria at the upcoming Paralympic Games. To celebrate Bolaji, the company recently hosted an event at its Lagos headquarters.
The company praised Bolaji for her resilience, strength, and unyielding spirit, noting that she has inspired countless people. Despite her relatively recent entry into the sport, Bolaji has already earned numerous medals and achieved significant milestones, including becoming the first African to win gold in a World Para-badminton championship. She has also qualified for the SL3 Para-badminton event at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
“This achievement is remarkable for someone who only began her para-badminton career in 2021 and is now ranked third in the world,” the firm noted. Bolaji expressed deep appreciation for the support she has received, stating, “Having the backing of Mikano means the world to me.
“Their confidence in my abilities drives me to work even harder and aim for excellence at the Paralympics. I’m eager to make my country proud and showcase Nigerian Paralympic badminton on the global stage.”
