The Katsina State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency has earned the designation of “Best State Health Insurance Agency of the Year 2024” at the National Healthcare Excellence Awards held in Lagos.

As reported by Arewa PUNCH, Katsina State had previously attained this accolade in 2022 and has now achieved it again in 2024, signifying successive victories.

Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the Press Secretary for the Governor of Katsina State, announced that Katsina was shortlisted along with Lagos, Adamawa, Kano, and Anambra.

Mohammed pointed out, “Katsina State’s win shows the unwavering commitment of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s team to the health and well-being of the population.

“This accolade reflects Governor Radda’s forward-thinking leadership and considerable investments in healthcare.”

“Under his direction, KTSCHMA has adopted innovative techniques, formed strategic partnerships, and worked persistently to improve healthcare results, accessibility, and affordability for Katsina’s citizens.”

The CPS also conveyed that Governor Radda expressed sincere gratitude to the Commissioner of Health, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, the Chairman of the KTSCHMA Board, the Director General, the management team, and all stakeholders involved in this remarkable achievement.

He remarked, “This recognition validates our administration’s dedication to providing exceptional healthcare services. We are committed to building upon this achievement and further improving the healthcare standards accessible to every resident of Katsina State.”

“In marking this milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to the ongoing advancement of our healthcare system, ensuring that Katsina State stays at the cutting edge of healthcare innovation and delivery in Nigeria,” Radda’s statement concluded.
