The National Universities Commission has given its approval for Ajayi Crowther University to provide full-time PhD, post-graduate, and master’s programs in Finance.
The PhD program in Accounting, the master’s and doctoral programs in Architecture, the post-graduate diploma in Education, and the bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology were also approved by the commission.
The management of the institution made available two different letters from the commission that carried the permission.
On behalf of the acting executive secretary of the commission, Abubakar Girei, Acting Director of Academic Planning at NUC, signed the letters.
According to the letter, the approval was granted following a visit by a team of experts from resource verification to the University, where they evaluated the material and human resources available for the program’s development.
Additionally, it said that the clearance will take effect in the school year 2023–2024.
