Lagos State House of Assembly member Desmond Elliot has apologised to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, following a disagreement linked to the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election.
Elliot reportedly went on his knees while seeking forgiveness from Gbajabiamila during a meeting in Lagos, expressing regret over his actions and asking his political mentor to pardon him.

Elliot, who represents Surulere Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has also maintained a longstanding political association with Gbajabiamila.
