President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his condolences to former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, following the death of her husband.

In a condolence message, the President sympathised with Adeosun, her family and loved ones during what he described as a difficult period of grief. He prayed for strength and comfort for the family as they mourn their loss.

Tinubu acknowledged Adeosun’s contributions to public service during her time in government and assured her of his thoughts and prayers during the bereavement.

The President also encouraged the family to take solace in the legacy and memories left behind by the deceased, expressing hope that they would find courage in the support of relatives, friends and well-wishers.

Since news of the death became public, tributes and condolence messages have continued to pour in from political leaders, associates and members of the public, many of whom have offered prayers and words of encouragement to the former minister and her family.

The condolence message reflects a tradition of national leaders extending support to public officials and their families during periods of personal loss, underscoring the importance of compassion and solidarity in difficult times.
