Women’s health advocacy recently took the spotlight in Lagos as One Wellness Clinic joined forces with PCOS Conquerors to host a refreshing wellness experience titled E.A.T. at the Table — an evening that merged elegant dining with open, healing-centered discussions on fertility, emotional balance, and holistic living.
According to the organisers, the gathering also marked the pre-launch of E.A.T: Emotional Appetite Therapy, a forthcoming book by Seyi Amao, the award-winning author and founder of PCOS Conquerors, known for her commitment to women’s wellness.
The event, themed “Come Hungry, Leave Whole,” beautifully blended science, storytelling, and faith. It was supported by brands such as ProSkin Aesthetic Clinic, Adam Scents, Sissy Remi, Tsemaye Binitie, BB Artistry, and Orange Mic, which handled the book’s production and printing.
The evening began with an inspiring wellness reflection by Dr. Elizabeth Falabi, Medical Director of Feet2Fit Integrative Health & Wellness, followed by an engaging panel session moderated by Sophia Emifoniye, CEO of Brunch Avenue.
Panelists included Dr. Jean Nassar, Pamela Bazi representing One Wellness, and Hala El Hachem from ProSkin, who discussed the interconnection between fertility, nutrition, and holistic health. Joke Adu, an executive at Standard Chartered Bank, drew a connection between financial wellbeing and women’s overall health, while Pastor Moses Ida-Michaels of EcclesiaHills concluded the evening with a heartfelt blessing, calling it “the beginning of a movement.”
One Wellness Clinic noted that its involvement was part of its broader social responsibility to support women’s health, particularly those living with PCOS.
“For us at One Wellness, supporting women with PCOS is not just medical, it’s personal,” the clinic stated. “Partnering with E.A.T. at the Table during PCOS Awareness Month allowed us to spotlight real issues women face, while reminding them that care, hope, and community are always within reach.”
Attendees also enjoyed a hands-on fragrance-blending activity courtesy of Adam Scents, where they created personalized 30ml perfumes. There were also raffle draws featuring fashion items from Sissy Remi, Tsemaye Binitie, and BB Artistry, alongside complimentary skincare treatments from ProSkin.
Speaking on the essence of the project, Amao emphasized, “E.A.T. is more than a book; it’s a pathway to wholeness. Last night proved that when science, faith, and sisterhood meet, we move beyond feeding our cravings to truly feeding our lives.”
The book E.A.T: Emotional Appetite Therapy is currently available for discounted pre-order via Roving Heights Bookshop and Selar, with nationwide shipping set to begin on October 27, 2025. An Amazon edition will be released shortly after the official launch.
