A Nigerian man has sparked outrage after sending a text message to his wife, insisting on maintaining relationships with his ex-girlfriends. The message, which has gone viral online, reveals the man’s refusal to cut ties with his past partners.

The man stated:

“My exes are not my enemies, and I will continue talking to them regardless of the discomfort it causes you as my spouse. I understand that you’ve explained how it makes you feel, but I don’t see anything wrong with it. Take it however you want; I can’t take responsibility for how you feel.”

The wife, feeling disrespected and hurt, shared the message with influencer Solomon Buchi, who posted it online. The post has generated intense debate, with many criticizing the husband’s stance.

This has caused a lot of controversies online today, as some people were against it and some were in support of it.

“If she starts talking to her own exes, he’ll remember that there’s something called Okafor’s law.” – @UfotImaobong

“If you cannot factor in your partner’s feelings and place them before anybody else in your life, you don’t deserve them.” – @moscolino7

This incident raises questions about boundaries and loyalty in relationships. Should partners prioritize their spouse’s feelings over maintaining friendships with exes?
