A Nigerian mother’s advice to her daughter has sparked a lively online discussion after she shared a dance video where she danced to American gospel singer Chandler Moore’s song, “Omemma.” The mother suggested that her daughter tag Chandler Moore in the video posted on social media.
The mother referenced Moses Bliss’ wife, Marie, who allegedly caught the singer’s attention with a video of herself dancing to his song. “Tag him, remember how Moses Bliss’ wife got him,” she said in a WhatsApp conversation that has since gone viral.
Chandler Moore is an American singer and member of Maverick City Music, a collective worshippers working in contemporary Christian music and Gospel. He has collaborated with notable gospel artists and has gained a significant follower-ship worldwide.
With this recent happening, many Nigerians have reacted to the advice given by the mother.

@aniblinkzbeads: “Mothers can never fail.”
@minky_properties: “Something my mom can say.”

@daniwize: “The pressure by 2025 might be like the deadline but am available for rent though.”
This is not the first time Chandler Moore has faced attention from Nigerian fans. Previously, he, along with other gospel singers, faced criticism from Nigerian Christians.
“Social media has changed the game for relationships and networking. While some may view this approach as unconventional, it highlights the power of online presence in modern relationships,” says Dr. Folashade Oyinlola, a relationship expert.
Marie, who married Moses Bliss in February 2024, recently celebrated her 25th birthday. She shared lovely photos of herself on social media, thanking fans for their well-wishes.
