A heartbroken Nigerian woman was brought to tears after discovering that her home had been burglarized while she and her family briefly attended church.

According to eyewitnesses, the thieves struck while the family was away, making off with valuables and leaving the house in disarray.

“See what these people did to our house. We just came back from church. Jesus. See what they did o. Heyyy. Who did this? It will not be well with you,” the distraught woman exclaimed in a video shared on social media.

The video, posted by @nkrose4 on TikTok, showed the ransacked home, with furniture overturned and belongings scattered everywhere.

“I’m still in shock. I don’t know how they gained entry,” the woman said, fighting back tears.

Social media users offered words of comfort and sympathy, condemning the callous act.

“Sorry madam, But I thank God you and your family members are safe. I thank God they didn’t harm you,” commented @IKECHUKWU.

“Madam, no swear. Everything that happened has a reason. God will replace what you lost with something bigger,” advised TIMELESSSHAWAMA123.

“This is a wake-up call for all of us to be more vigilant and secure our homes,” said security expert, Emmanuel Okoro.

The police are yet to comment on the incident, but authorities have urged residents to report any suspicious activity.
